Welcome to our website! We were trying to think of a way to keep in touch with our Bethel Church family and our other friends about personal news, a blog, Bible study, and church events. So here it is, our website/blog. We hope you enjoy it and please leave your comments and thoughts as we want to hear back from you.
Have a great day and may God bless you,

Welcome to Mission Bethel Pastor Ken, Andrea & family. My family lived in Mission many years ago when our daughters were very small and we will always remember how Bethel supported us when we ran into hard times. God truly works miracles through the love of His people. Some of my fondest memories are teaching the wee ones in Bethel’s Sunday School. My sister, Gloria Shipmaker, still lives in the area and has attended Bethel and run many programs over the years. She was very excited when you came to shepherd Bethel’s little flock and she feels you are an answer to prayer. I believe great things will happen within Bethel with your very obvious love of our Lord and your enthusiasm for serving Him and His people. I am now living in Quesnel, BC and attending Quesnel Bethel church. There are people here who know you and your family. When Gloria told me that you were Mission Bethel’s new pastor, I sent out a Prayer Request to our Prayer Chain which I have included below:
A few months ago, Pastor Dennis Bjorgan & his wife Sherry retired after something like 15 years with Bethel Pentecostal Assembly in Mission, BC. Bethel is the church that my sister, Gloria, attends. They have been praying & seeking a new Pastor since that time and have just welcomed Pastor Ken & Andrea Critchly and their children Keeley & Karson to Bethel. Please pray that the Critchly family settles into their new home & community quickly and feel welcome & at home in their new church & among their new congregation. Also, please pray for church growth at Bethel. My sister tells me that attendance was down to about 75 and the first Sunday Pastor Ken preached, the congregation numbered 140. Please pray for the Holy Spirit’s annointing on every service Pastor Ken preaches and that there will be a revival at Mission Bethel with many newcomers seeking Jesus.
That is still my prayer and the prayer of our Prayer Chain at Quesnel Bethel. I visit my sister several times during the year and I am looking forward to meeting you.
Be blessed
